Spine lining

A spine strip – spine lining is a special type of cardboard used in bookbinding to reinforce the edges of books. Due to its durability and flexibility, the spine strip provides additional protection and stability to the binding, which is particularly important for books that are frequently used. This type of cardboard is also easy to cut and shape, allowing for precise adjustment to different book sizes and shapes. The spine strip is available in various widths, rolled onto spools. A major advantage of using this type of cardboard is the ability to automate the process of gluing it into hardcover bindings.
