Creped paper
Creped paper, commonly called “crepe,” is widely used in hardcover book production as a spine-reinforcing element. Its primary function is to transfer the decorative finish of bookbinding accessories such as headbands or tailbands, along with applied adhesive. The elastic structure of the crepe prevents spine damage during regular use. It effectively replaces the standard material known as bookbinding gauze or mull.
We offer a wide selection of creped paper in various weights, degrees of creping, and colors. The paper is available in different widths and rolls, with customization options for cutting to the desired width.
