Crepe paper — the ideal solution for reinforcing the book spine
Crepe paper—commonly referred to simply as “crepe”—is widely used in hardcover book production as a reinforcing element for the spine. Its role is to transfer, together with the applied adhesive, the decorative finishing element—the bookbinding headband. The flexible structure of crepe paper prevents damage to the spine during use. It can successfully replace the traditional material used for this purpose, such as bookbinding mull (merla). We offer a wide selection of crepe paper in various grammages, degrees of creping, and colors. Crepe is available in different widths and roll lengths, and can also be cut to the desired width upon request.
