SPS BlueHybrid - offset blanket
High-roughness rubber blanket with neutral sheet release.
SPS BlueHybrid is a high-roughness rubber blanket providing neutral sheet release, maximizing ink transfer while reducing paper dusting and fiber build-up. Its highly swell-resistant surface enables fast, efficient cleaning, and the uniform caliper with a homogeneous structure ensures stable press performance. The specially engineered surface finish offers outstanding resistance to edge cutting, allowing a wide range of sheet formats without frequent blanket changes. SPS Uvira LE is an offset blanket designed for the most demanding UV, H-UV and LE/LED-UV printing applications—both on litho board and for general commercial work. Its special EPDM compound provides high solvent resistance without swelling or ghosting, while the closed-cell compressible layer ensures outstanding strength and dimensional stability. The blanket delivers very fast sheet release, excellent halftone dot reproduction and high durability, especially when printing with UV metallic inks. Engineered for high-speed production up to 21,000 sheets per hour, it is ISEGA certified.

It also performs reliably in hybrid applications (conventional and UV inks), delivering stable, uniform print results with very sharp halftone dot reproduction. The closed-cell compressible layer combined with a high-grade fabric carcass provides excellent dimensional stability and high resistance to embossing/packing. Its outstanding rebound minimizes caliper loss, so the blanket does not require re-tensioning during use and reliably handles frequent substrate and sheet-format changes.
